We believe in working together for the love of trees.

The Tree Council brings everyone together with a shared mission to care for trees and our planet’s future. We inspire and empower organisations, government, communities and individuals with the knowledge and tools to create positive, lasting change at a national and local level.

Take action

Help us champion trees, whether that’s by donating to support our work, becoming a volunteer Tree Warden, or visiting a remarkable local tree.

Donate

Donate to The Tree Council and your generosity will plant, care for and protect trees at a local level through our volunteers and community programmes, and at a national level through advocacy, science and research and our network of Members.

Become a Tree Warden

Being a Tree Warden is all about making trees matter in your local area. It enables people like you to play an active role in conserving and enhancing the trees and woods that you see and enjoy in your community every day.

Join in with National Tree Week!

Planting more trees and hedgerows will make a big difference as we work together to tackle the climate and nature crises, but it can be difficult to know where to start. That’s where our free online sessions come in – learn more about tree planting and the wonders of mistletoe, or check out some of the other great webinars being run by our partners to get involved.

Apply to the Branching Out Fund

We are offering grants to schools, community groups and Tree Warden Networks to plant trees and hedgerows in their local area. All projects must involve young people up to the age of 21.
