Our humble hedgerows are often overlooked but they are immensely important for biodiversity, connecting habitats, protecting against pollution and fighting…
We believe in working together for the love of trees.
The Tree Council brings everyone together with a shared mission to care for trees and our planet’s future. We inspire and empower organisations, government, communities and individuals with the knowledge and tools to create positive, lasting change at a national and local level.
Branching Out Fund is open!
We are offering grants to schools, community groups and Tree Warden Networks to plant trees and hedgerows in their local area. All projects must have strong community involvement, and ideally involve children and/or young people.
Donate to The Tree Council and your generosity will plant, care for and protect trees at a local level through our volunteers and community programmes, and at a national level through advocacy, science and research and our network of Members.
Did you celebrate National Tree Week?
Planting more trees and hedgerows will make a big difference as we work together to tackle the climate and nature crises, but it can be difficult to know where to start. That’s where our free online sessions come in – learn more about tree planting and the wonders of mistletoe, or check out some of the other great webinars run by our partners to get involved.
