Tree Council corporate volunteers, including many Tree Partners, were out in force to kick off National Tree Week and this year’s tree planting season.
Over two days and cities, hardy team members from ten Tree Council corporate partners joined us to get new trees in the ground and out to community groups.
In Leeds, teams from Cushman & Wakefield, Ground Control, Vanquis and Viking provided support to Fruitworks Cooperative during their busiest time of year. Volunteers lifted and prepared fruit trees grown in the nursery, ready for dispatch to local community groups and schools around Leeds and Bradford.
In Hackney, groups from Avison Young, CapitalRise, Ground Control, HGH Consulting, Just Displays, Premier Miton and Network Rail helped the Hackney Parks team with their Hackney Hedges Project – planting and mulching hedgerow whips on Clapton Common.
