Set Up a New CTN

There are around 80+ Community Tree Nurseries in the UK producing around 250,000 trees a year – be part of our programme to help double it.

Community-led tree planting isn’t just about growing trees, it’s about growing connection, care, and resilience. These projects bring neighbours together, build pride in shared spaces, and ensure that everyone, not just a few, benefits from cleaner air, cooler streets, and greener futures. Whether a community group, charity or school, by planting trees together, communities create lasting roots for both people and the planet.

We aim to double the number of community tree nurseries in the UK, supporting a minimum of 35 organisations each year new set up a new CTN for their community, whether that be in a school, allotment, park or community centre.
