The Tree Council is excited to be named as one of Yeo Valley’s three chosen charities for the first quarter of this year (Jan-March), as part of its ‘Yeoken’ programme – the charity that secures the most Yeokens receives a £1,500 donation, and the other two charities receive a £1,000 donation.
We are up against two fantastic organisations, Trussell Trust and Your Park Bath and Bristol. Currently in second place, we’d be delighted if anyone who buys Yeo Valley products deposited their Yeokens in support of The Tree Council.
As the national charity that brings everyone together for the love of trees, this donation will help us continue to fund, plant and care for trees, orchards, and hedgerows, in urban and rural communities across the UK, as well as supporting our work with schools, our science and research efforts, and our brilliant Tree Warden scheme.
The Tree Council connects people of all ages with the natural world, establishing homes for wildlife and creating a greener, happier, tree-filled future for everyone.
Sara Lom, The Tree Council CEO, said:
“We are delighted that Yeo Valley has chosen us to be one of their amazing charities this quarter. Their generous support, through the Yeokens you share, will help schools and communities plant and care for trees across the UK. Thank you to everyone who has dedicated their ‘Yeokens’ so far and please do continue to vote and help create a green legacy for the future.“
All you have to do is collect Yeokens from purchased Yeo Valley products, and if you haven’t already done so, create an account with Yeo Valley, and then vote for The Tree Council by donating your Yeokens.
You can register your vote/Yeokens for The Tree Council at the Yeo Valley website. Keep up with the latest on our social media channels below.
