Growing Locally Sourced Trees

The UK is one of the most nature depleted countries on Earth. Over the coming decades, we will need to grow and plant tens of millions of trees to increase tree cover, tackle climate change, restore biodiversity and support people’s wellbeing. To help meet this demand, it’s essential that more trees are grown here in Britain. British-grown trees reduce the risk of introducing pests and diseases from overseas and are generally better adapted to their local environment.
