SUMMARY:Community Woodland Day
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a fun day celebrating trees and woodlands and find out about your local community woodland and how you can get involved.\n\nIn the morning\, help us plant 400 trees around the Growers Hub and Camping Skye; in the afternoon join us for a tour of the Community Tree Nursery and areas of the Community Woodland where we will be running volunteer nature restoration activities in coming months.  All day\, find out about future plans for Broadford Community Woodland in our display in the Campers’ Shelter. Free refreshments including hot soup available.\n\n\nAll ages welcome but please note children must be accompanied and supervised.\n\nAccessibility information: Please contact us in advance if you would like to discuss your accessibility requirements. Please note: \n\nThe Campers’ Shelter is accessible for wheelchair users and people with limited mobility.\nTree planting: We will make every effort to accommodate people with different access needs but regret the rough ground is not be suitable for wheelchair users.\nTour: Tour of Tree Nursery is accessible for wheelchairs and people with limited mobility. Tour of woodland will cover rough ground and we regret not suitable for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility.\n\nDisabled toilets are available in the campsite.
