SUMMARY:Tree Planting Alnwick Freeriders Bike Track
DESCRIPTION:Join the team from Growing Together Northumberland to plant young native trees to give a wild harvest for people and wildlife. We’ll be replacing trees that did not survive the hot summer. \nOur tasks will involve some digging and planting and the recovery of unused tree guards. \nDiscover how to identify trees in winter and the best way to ensure their survival into the future. \nWear old clothes and stout boots. Some gloves and spades will be available\, but feel free to bring your own! \nAccessibility: The site is flat in some places and reasonably smooth. Contact us if you have any mobility requirements – there are jobs for everyone.
