Supporting The Queen’s Green Canopy

The Tree Council is delighted to have been invited to be a key partner of The Queen’s Green Canopy, a unique tree planting initiative encouraging people across the UK to ‘Plant a tree for the Jubilee’ in honour of the Queen’s historic 70 years of service to the nation. Tree planting will start again in October 2022, through to the end of the Jubilee year.

Become a Jubilee Partner

As part of the celebrations we are working with our Jubilee Partners to launch the Jubilee Fund, a new community grants programme that will see an incredible 35,000 trees and 7 kilometres of hedgerow planted across the UK in 2021 and 2022. The fund will enhance treescapes across the UK and create an environmental and cultural legacy in honour of The Queen’s historic 70 years on the throne.
As well as supporting vital conservation work, partners are invited along to volunteer planting events during the tree planting season. They are also given acknowledgment of support online and on social media, plus use of our ‘Proud to Support’ logo.
To become a Jubilee Partner or for more information, you can email our Development Manager Cat Gransden at cat.gransden@treecouncil.org.uk.
