About this walk:

Stroll along the banks of the River Brock through a peaceful woodland. A well-timed spring visit will provide a carpet of bluebells creating a blue haze across the woodland floor. Spring is the best time to visit when leaves are emerging from the trees and the birds are in full song. You can stroll for as long as you wish along the well maintained path for up to 2km before returning back along the path you came. There is a free carpark located on Brock Mill Lane and picnic benches, making this walk a great place to bring the family. There are plenty of paddling opportunities for little ones and big ones alike as the pebbly river banks makes a great natural playground. Just be mindful if there has been heavy rain in the days before your walk as the river levels will be higher than usual. It is a dog-friendly walk, just be mindful of other families and walkers who may be having a picnic![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” equal_height=”yes” bg_type=”bg_color” bg_color_value=”#fafafa” css=”.vc_custom_1571860192244{padding-top: 70px !important;padding-bottom: 70px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1571908889188{padding-top: 150px !important;padding-bottom: 150px !important;background-image: url(https://treecouncil.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/Tree_Council_Remarkable_Trees.jpg?id=172) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1571860150022{padding-bottom: 20px !important;background-color: #f0efe4 !important;}” el_class=”green”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1571908878162{padding-right: 20px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”]
