Old Tilehurst Guided Tree Walk

About the walk

Come and explore with us on this circular walk the lesser known quiet leafy streets and Arthur Newbery Park with magnificent mature trees planted by our forbears in the Victorian age. We will pause to identify a wide range of beautiful (and some unusual) tree species with gorgeous views over the Thames Valley, and peek at trees in the historic Kentwood House estate. Unfortunately not on the flat and unsuitable for wheelchairs and buggies. No dogs. Booking essential at rtwn2011@gmail.com. This is one of seven urban and riverside walks overseen by walks leader Anna Iwaschkin. (download at the walks link on www.readingtreewardens.org.uk)
