Petersfield Tree Trail

Recommended walk

The Petersfield walk features a scenic route around a large pond, bordered by historic woodland. Highlights include rare trees like the Dawn Redwoods, rediscovered in China, the ancient Ginkgo biloba, towering Giant Sequoias introduced from Sierra Nevada, and Oliver’s Lime, among others. The path boasts over 60 species, with convenient parking and public transport access.

There is a guide booklet, The Petersfield Tree Trail (£5), available in the Museum in St Peter’s Rd and at One Tree Book Shop, Lavant St.
