Our seasonal campaigns help people get out and appreciate trees in their area throughout the year. You can use the map tab on the calendar below to find local events happening near you.

Tree Care Campaign

31 March – 21 September

Did you know that simple aftercare, such as weeding and watering, can greatly increase a newly planted tree’s chance of survival? Our Tree Care Campaign raises awareness of the easy ways we can all help our local trees thrive.

Walk in the Woods

1 May – 31 May

Join thousands of people across the country and get out and celebrate your local trees in Walk in the Woods month. It’s a fantastic opportunity to enjoy strolling through woodland, walking in your local park, or simply appreciating the tree-lined streets around you.

National Hedgerow Week


The inaugural National Hedgerow Week in 2021 was an amazing celebration of our hidden hedgerow heroes. We encouraged people across the country to #TalkToTheHedge and get curious about their local hedges. 

Seed Gathering Season

23 September – 23 October

Growing trees from local seeds is a fantastic way to create resilient trees for the future. In the autumn, we get people out gathering seeds, fruits and nuts and experiencing the magic of seeing them grow into trees!

National Tree Week

27 November – 5 December

It’s never been more important to plant trees for the future. National Tree Week is the UK’s largest annual tree celebration, marking the start of the winter tree planting season. It gets people out planting trees around the country, reminding everyone how fundamental trees are to our lives.
