Clare Bowen, The Tree Council’s Director of Programmes and Communications, joined former Secretary of State, George Eustice and Majestic Trees MD, Steve McCurdy for a special National Tree Week Hort Week panel on the future of tree establishment.
Led By Hort Week editor, Matt Appleby, the discussion ranged across a variety of important and timely topics, from the helpfulness or otherwise of tree planting targets; adaptations to tree establishment methods in response to climatic and ground conditions; developments in tree protection; and approaches to tree survival monitoring, among others.
