About the network
Hartlepool Tree Warden Network is a new network that was established by Hartlepool Borough Council in 2024 in partnership with the Tree Council. We are looking for Tree Wardens to join our community of volunteers and act as local tree champions for Hartlepool who can assist with tree planting, tree care and tree monitoring throughout the town. Prior training or experience of trees and their management is not required – just a love of trees and a few hours to spare. The amount of time and effort required for the role is as much or as little as you are willing to give. Trees are located throughout the town of Hartlepool, so volunteers can choose to focus on a particular area, park or open space.
Benefits Include:
- Discovering more about tree planting, tree management, tree monitoring and tree protection
- Volunteering outdoors in nature
- Learning new skills
- Meeting new people
