About the network:

We are based in York however are happy to accept members from surrounding Local Authority areas where TW groups do not exist.

We have ongoing projects and training throughout the year so there is always practical work to have a go at. As an example, we are currently surveying and mapping all our public trees to help manage and protect them for the future. Once recorded their details are available for the public to view via City of York Councils Web Mapping. This is a great way to learn about and indentify your local tree population and work with other tree wardens.

The group does ask for a small subscription to help pay for tools, materials and training events not to mention social outings.

Our website is under review for summer 2012 but please feel free to check it out for further information http://yorktreewardens.org.uk/

For up to date event and meeting dates please contact us directly.
