SUMMARY:Golberdon Community Orchard
DESCRIPTION:SHARE Community Orchard at Golberdon opened in 2022 for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. \n30 traditional west country apple trees and a mix of hedging trees were planted by volunteers. \nMore land has now been added alongside this orchard\, renting the plots from South Hill parish council. \nOpen for all to enjoy & encouraging wildlife to thrive.  \nThe creation of new hedges containing a wide variety of trees has just been completed during National Tree Week plus 250 native wild daffodil bulbs & primroses planted by volunteers. \nThere are plans for off road car parking\, a shelter\, seating areas\, flowers\, rhubarb and pumpkin patch a composting toilet. \n Join us as we develop this community space . \n                             Grow a living legacy                                                     \nHelp plant more fruit trees in December.  \nNo experience necessary\, help will be on hand and all tools supplied. \nSuggest you wear play clothes\, waterproof footwear and gloves.  \nContact Ali 07305 044049  iamalihumphreys@yahoo.com
