SUMMARY:Citizen Forester Tree Planting and Maintenance\, Haslam Park\, Bolton
DESCRIPTION:The Details \nJoin us for a day of tree planting & maintenance and become a Citizen Forester with City of Trees! \nWe are planting and maintaining trees in response to the climate and biodiversity emergency. They create healthier\, happier communities\, tackle the climate crisis head on\, reconnect us to our natural world\, and provide essential habitats for wildlife. \nAll tools will be provided; please wear suitable clothing for outdoor work and sturdy footwear. Drop in for an hour or stay the whole day – you will be guided throughout the day so no prior experience is necessary. This activity is suitable for all ages. \nTime & Location \n\n10am-3pm. We will start at 10am\, please note we may finish earlier than 3pm if all the work is completed. Please arrive as close to 10am as possible.\nHaslam Park\, Wigan Road\, Bolton\, BL3 5QL\nMeeting point- please meet us in the field off the top off the playground at Haslam Park. You will see the flag and gazebo of City of Trees. Exact location: ///ears.flash.jungle. If you are unable to find us on the day\, call Hannah (07519 326206) or Katie (07759369220).\n\nParking/public transport \n\nThere is residential street parking around the site. Please be mindful when parking and try to car share where possible.\nThe closest bus stop is ‘Haslam Park Primary School\, MANPAWMW’ which is directly infront of Haslam Park. The closest train station is Lostock\, which then requires a bus to ‘Haslam Park Primary School\, MANPAWMW’.\n\nAbout the site \nHaslam Park is a public park. The area where we will be working is grassed over with no formal paths. There will be access to seating all day and a portaloo on site. \nPlease visit the City of Trees website to book onto this event. Booking is essential
