DESCRIPTION:Come to Whirlow Brook Park\, Sheffield S11 9QD\nHelp us plant 60m wildlife friendly\, mixed native hedge. \nAll welcome. Family friendly. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry no dogs. \nNo previous experience necessary. \nTwo trenches have been dug and back-filled so not heavy work. \nItinerary (approx): \n10.00: What and why. Tool talk \n10.15: Choose a bag of whips (8 per metre) and get planting! \n11.00: Drinks. Biscuits\, cake or flapjack available \n11.15 Back to work\, finishing with watering and mulching (or quit if you’ve had enough) \n12:00 Finish. \nWhat to Bring:\nPlease bring a bottle of water to care for your mini-trees and a reusable cup for your drinks. Wear warm\, waterproof clothes and sturdy boots or wellies. Waterproof trousers are useful. Tools and (adult) gloves provided. \nAccessibility:\nSorry\, the site is not wheelchair accessible at the moment. The ground slopes slightly\, is uneven\, muddy and slippery. \nGetting there: \nThe nearest entrance to the planting site is on the crescent off Ecclesall Road South\, just in front of the park gates.
