Join us at HUT on the Green for an evening of tree talk, good company and a glass of wine, as we celebrate the start of National Tree Week — the UK’s biggest annual celebration of trees!
Expect to hear about how the trees on our doorstep are cared for, as well as insights into the city’s Urban Woodland Management Strategy. We’ll learn about how the trees in our park are being looked after, the challenges they face, and plans for planting and care in the future. It’s a great chance to learn more about the living landscape right on our doorstep — from mature oaks and beeches to the younger trees shaping the park’s next generation.
Expect friendly conversation, fascinating insights, and plenty of time for questions and discussion. Whether you’re a keen tree-spotter, a casual admirer, or just curious to learn more about the park and its woodland life, come along and join the chat.
Let’s raise a glass to the trees that bring life and character to our local landscape — and to those still to come.
