Autumn Tree Walk at the University of Sheffield
Join us for a guided walk around the campus this autumn and discover:
 The many species of trees on site
 How to identify them by bark, leaves, colours, seeds and structures
 Fascinating insights into their health, pests and diseases
Come along, enjoy the autumn colours, and see the campus in a whole new way!
The walk is suitable for anyone with an interest in trees.
Dress for the weather with sturdy outdoor footwear.
In the case of heavy prolonged rain or severe wind the event will be cancelled.
The walk will not be fast paced and will involve a fair bit of standing, but there may
be uneven ground and short uphill slopes. Please let us know if you have
accessibility needs and we will adapt the walk to ensure all needs are met.
Paid car parking is available at Stanage Apartments, Endcliffe Ave, Endcliffe,
Sheffield S10 3AF

Ages: The walk is primarily aimed at adults but children over 8 are welcome if
accompanied by an adult. Well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead. Please be
aware of others in the group who may not be used to dogs.
Toilets are available at The Edge if required.
