It’s #NationalTreeWeek! 🌳 Celebrating it’s 50th year, it marks the traditional start of the winter tree planting season.

We’re very excited to join this year’s activities with a community orchard day at our Mountain Ash site on Thursday 27th November, where we’ll be planting some Welsh heritage Rhyl Beauty apple and Snowdon Queen Pear trees! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

📆 Thursday 27th November
🕙 11am – 1pm

📍 The Down to Zero, Mountain Ash site, does not have a postal address, but is located on Bryn Gobaith Farm. We recommend using the what3words location ///return.unroll.canoe. From there, you’ll be able to navigate using popular map services, such as Google Maps, Waze, Citymapper and Bing Maps.

Limited spaces, send us a message on Facebook to reserve yours! Refreshments and biscuits provided. Please bring your own lunch, wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring wellies/outdoor boots if you have them. Pick-up available from Mountain Ash Bowls Club.

Visit www.nationaltreeweek.org.uk to find other National Tree Week events, connect with all The Tree Council‘s brilliant partner organisations, and access lots of fun and interactive resources – including an audio-guided forest-bathing session and tree-themed playlist. 💚
