Sustainable Swaledale is maintaining a woodland in Arkengarthdale, near Reeth in Swaledale, N Yorkshire, in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

The woodland is about fifteen years old, and we are most of the way through the task of removing and recycling the tree guards that were used to protect the young, growing trees but are no longer needed.
