Avon Needs Trees purchased Wick Farm with the aim to create Lower Chew Forest; the South West’s largest woodland in a generation.

Much of this land will be planted as a forest, whilst other parts will remain farmed.

This winter we will be helping them plant up to 1.4km hedgerow, much of which was ripped out post-WW11. This will connect up existing hedgerow and extend a vital wildlife corridor.
