We’ll be marking National Tree Week with our first tree planting projects of the season – on Friday 28th November, we’ll be planting around 90 metres of hedgerow at Cantley Park Allotments. Hedgerows are crucial wildlife corridors that give nature a boost whilst providing attractive borders, site security, and fruit and nuts.

We’ll provide the trees, canes, guards, gloves, and spades, all you need is suitable attire (good footwear and layers to keep warm) and enthusiasm!

The trees are 1-2 years old and 60-90cm in height, and their small size means that anyone of any age or ability can get involved.
